Team Vitality's Sayf: "ceNder did not get kicked, he chose to take a break"

Valorant player for Team Vitality, Saif "Sayf" Jibraeel, provided his comment regarding the recent departure of Jokūbas "ceNder" Labutis from the team, where he spent over three years.

On November 1, Team Vitality announced the departure of Jokūbas "ceNder" Labutis, a player who had been with the team for more than 1,300 days, participating in over 30 tournaments. Until now, no comments had been given regarding the situation, but on November 3, Sayf revealed that it was the player’s personal decision. We covered the transfer in more detail in a separate article.

Saif "Sayf" Jibraeel noted that ceNder is one of the best teammates he has ever had, and the player's departure was not due to any decision from the team or club to remove him. The player shared this on his X social media page.

ceNder was not kicked; he chose to take a break. He is one of the most fantastic and selfless teammates I've ever played with, and I hope he returns to VCT soon

In addition to ceNder, runneR also left the team, and they were replaced by 2022 world champion Less and one of the top duelists, Derke. The team is currently not participating in any offseason tournaments, so the debut of the updated roster is expected in 2025 at VCT 2025: EMEA Kickoff.
