Today, on the official page of the Spanish esports organization Team Queso, there was information that most of the players and coaching staff are leaving the Valorant team. The main reason for this is the club's poor performance at Valorant Challengers Ascension 2023: EMEA Play-In.
Nos han llevado a dos finales presenciales, nos han convertido en subcampeones de España y nos han hecho soñar con Europa, pero hoy toca separar caminos.

The latest roster of Team Queso
We want to note that not all players are leaving the team. The team captain, Bartosz "UNFAKE" Bernacki, is heading to the bench, and Joona "H1ber" Parviainen, judging by the fact that he is not on the departure list, is the only one remaining on the team from the main roster. In addition to the players, the team will also be left by the head coach thinkii and the coach Yaba.
Team Queso's Performance
Since the start of the season, the team has successfully participated in two stages of Valorant Challengers 2023 Spain: Rising Split 1 and Split 2, where it placed 2nd both times. This allowed them to earn enough VCL Spain Points to make it to the significant Valorant Challengers Ascension 2023: EMEA Play-In. Their performance there ended with the Spanish club finishing 3-4th, which didn't allow the players to get to Valorant Challengers Ascension 2023: EMEA. The defeat at the last tournament was the main reason for the changes in the roster, as after the knockout from VCA 2023 EMEA Play-In, the season for Team Queso ended. Since its inception, the Spanish club has won several Tier-2, 3 tournaments and brought the organization $5,622.
Farewell to the team
The organization thanks the former players for their merits and wishes all the best in the future.
They led us to two face-to-face finals, they made us vice-champions in Spain, and made us dream of Europe, but today it's time to part. We wish you all the best!
In turn, all the players and both coaches who left the team are not planning to end their career in Valorant. They are open to new offers and have already begun looking for new teams.
After @TeamQuesoGG's announcement, I am now looking for a team!
