Team Liquid VALORANT Says Goodbye to Serial

The organization Team Liquid has parted ways with Maikls “Serial” Zdanovs, who had been playing in their VALORANT roster. The player spent less than four months with the club. The announcement was made on the team’s official X page.

Maikls “Serial” Zdanovs joined Team Liquid in March 2025 and participated in two tournaments: VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1 and Masters Toronto 2025, as well as in the qualifiers for the Esports World Cup 2025. His best result came at EMEA Stage 1, where he helped Team Liquid secure third place and qualify for Masters Toronto. At this time, there is no information on where the player will continue his career.

According to previous rumors circulated in the media, he is expected to be replaced by Nikita “Trexx” Cherednichenko. Reportedly, both parties have already reached an agreement—only the official announcement is pending, if the reports are accurate.

The next and possibly final tournament for Team Liquid within the VCT 2025 season will be VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2, where the team will have a chance to qualify for Champions 2025 or miss out and end the season.
