Team Liquid ends contracts with Enzo and Mistic in Valorant

On October 24, Team Liquid announced the termination of contracts with players from their Valorant roster — Enzo and Mistic. Both players, who announced their search for a new team in August of this year, will now be free agents and can join other organizations without any transfer fees.

Enzo Career and Achievements

28-year-old Enzo began his esports career in 2017 in CS, after which he played for several European teams, such as 3DMAX. In 2020, he transitioned to Valorant, making his way through NiP and Alliance, and in March 2022, he signed with FNATIC. In this roster, he significantly contributed to the team's success at VCT 2022 Stage 2 Masters and VALORANT Champions 2022.

After concluding his contract with FNATIC in September 2022, Enzo joined Apeks, where he won VCL 2023 Split 1 and Split 2, and reached the finals of the Ascension tournament. However, in the decisive match, Apeks lost to Gentle Mates, preventing them from rising to the International League. In November of last year, Enzo signed with Team Liquid, taking on the role of IGL and initiator.

Mistic Career and Achievements

22-year-old Mistic entered the Valorant esports scene in April 2020 and joined FNATIC in March of the following year. With this team, he became a finalist at VCT 2021 Stage 2 Masters and achieved high placements at VCT 2022 Stage 2 Masters and VALORANT Champions 2022. However, in September 2022, he was moved to the bench, and in January of this year, he signed with Apeks. With this team, Mistic won the Challengers twice and placed second at Ascension. In November of last year, he also signed with Team Liquid.

Mistic is known for his skill in playing controllers like Omen, Viper, and Astra, and he has played nearly 300 official matches with a high K/D ratio. He has also shown flexibility by using various agents like Skye and Sage. However, his performance has significantly declined this season.

The Team Liquid roster, from which two players have departed, now looks as follows:

  • Ayaz "nAts" Akhmetshin
  • Georgio "Keiko" Sanassy
  • Kamil "kamo" Frąckowiak
  • Nico "Harmii" Harms (reserve)
  • Ivo "LohaN" Albino (head coach)
  • Daniel "yaotziN" Roczniak (assistant coach)
  • Jake "Bacon9" Lloyd (analyst)
  • Tanner "7Teen" Curtis (team coach)
