Talon Esports has published an official statement in which they bid farewell to their Valorant team's duelist, Apiwat "GarnetS" Apiraksukumal. He had previously announced that he was looking for a new team.
On November 6th, Apiwat "GarnetS" Apiraksukumal posted on his Twitter page that he was looking for a new team, surprising his followers and Valorant fans (he later deleted the post). This came as a big shock since he was still a member of Talon Esports, and the club had not announced his official departure. Throughout his time with the team, he helped secure over $28,000 in prize money.
Apiwat "GarnetS" Apiraksukumal joined Talon Esports on October 25, 2022. Over more than a year, he participated in four tournaments with the team, one of which was the international VCT LOCK//IN São Paulo 2023. At this tournament, the team finished in 5-8th place, earning $25,000. This was one of the main achievements of the club for the past season.
Talon Esports lineup after the departure of GarnetS
ESL Clash of Nations 2023 is the next, and possibly the last tournament for Talon Esports in 2023. The event will start on November 24th, so the team has little time left to finalize their roster and prepare for the tournament.
