T1 Valorant Secures the Only Slot from the APAC Region for Red Bull Home Ground 5

The esports organization T1 wins the sole ticket from the APAC region to Red Bull Home Ground 5 by defeating ZETA DIVISION in the grand final of the APAC Play-in.

A Rematch

This was the second encounter between ZETA DIVISION and T1 with their updated rosters. Their first match took place at the same tournament during the group stage, in a best-of-one format, where ZETA DIVISION emerged victorious. The rematch didn't take long, as T1 got a chance for revenge in the grand final of Red Bull Home Ground 5 — APAC Play-In, ultimately claiming the tournament's top prize. Going into the match, T1 was the clear favorite among fans, with the final being played in a best-of-five format.

ZETA DIVISION’s First Setback

Despite the desperate efforts of ZETA DIVISION's updated roster, the team suffered their first defeat and lost any opportunity to attend Red Bull Home Ground 5, as the slot went to T1 with a 3-1 victory in the grand final. You can check the detailed post-match statistics in the image below.

The Final, Unfortunately, Lost to T1
Ah, if only we had secured our HAVEN map, which was the first one, we could have moved on to ABYSS, where we felt pretty strong during practice. But it is what it is. It was a good experience for us, we performed decently, and we will learn a lot from this tournament. This is just the third week for this roster, so we have everything ahead of us.
Thank you all for your support.
