T1 establishes Valorant academic team

Korean esports organization T1, based in South Korea, announced on April 24th the creation of an academic team in the game Valorant. MN3, who has experience competing in the Overwatch League, will lead the new team. The team will consist of six players and a coach.

As previously stated, MN3, who has extensive experience in the esports scene of Overwatch League and Seoul Infernal, will lead the new lineup. BeomJun, who represented T1 in 2022 for six months, has also become part of the team. Only1 and SacrificE have also joined the academic roster, previously seen in clubs such as REIGINITE and SCARZ. The final player is Requ1em, who has not previously competed in the professional Valorant scene.

CurryShot has been appointed as the head coach, having worked in the Overwatch League with teams like Guangzhou Charge and Los Angeles Gladiators. He also has experience coaching in Valorant since 2022, working with several lesser-known teams.
