On March 16, the American organization Supernova Galaxy announced the disbandment of the team and coaching staff in the discipline of Valorant. However, the division is not yet closed, indicating the possibility of the team's continued existence in the future.
The reason for this decision, as stated in the organization's post on Twitter, was unsatisfactory results that did not justify the time and effort invested. The 2024 season began for Supernova Galaxy with an 11th place finish in the open qualifiers for VCT 2024: Game Changers North America Series Series 1. They then participated in the second series of the tournament, but only managed an unsatisfactory 8th place finish.
Despite these setbacks, the team still managed to qualify for the main stage of the competition, thanks to the points earned during the season. However, even there, Supernova Galaxy failed to meet expectations, finishing 5th and exiting the tournament.

None of the players have made statements regarding their future plans yet. However, considering their failure in the 2024 season, it is unlikely that the entire roster will be signed by another organization.
