"Speed from 6.73 to 9.11 is incredibly strong" - The Valorant community considers Neon the meta's future overpowered agent

The new patch 8.11, which will bring enhancements to several agents including the Filipino duelist Neon, who has recently been unpopular. Even though the update has not yet been released, players already believe that Neon will become the queen of the future meta, and her ability enhancements will be too strong.

It's noteworthy that in the upcoming update 8.11, Neon will receive significant enhancements. All her abilities will be improved, but players are particularly focusing on High Gear. Now, Neon will no longer lose movement speed when turning sideways during a sprint, the ability's cooldown time is reduced, weapons are accessed instantly after sliding, and much more. However, the most important change is the increase in movement speed from 6.73 m/s to 9.11 m/s, which makes Neon the main overpowered agent, according to the community.

On the Reddit platform, a user with the nickname El_Desu created a discussion, drawing the community's attention to Neon. He believes that the total increase in the agent's speed is nearly 35%, which will show incredible results in practice. In the comments to the discussion, most participants agreed with the author, many stating that they can't wait for the new patch to try her out. Interestingly, after the announcement of the changes, Valorant News stated that there will now be a new Neon + Judge duo in the game. With such speed, it's very easy to close in on enemies, and the automatic shotgun at close range is the deadliest weapon.

Patch 8.11 is expected to appear in Valorant on June 11-12, so all we can do is wait for the update to find out if Neon will indeed be the meta's future overpowered agent.
