Before the start of the new season, the well-known portal trackergg, which specializes in Valorant statistics, revealed data for the ranks in January 2023. It was found that the Silver rank has once again taken the lead, with the total number of players at this rank constituting 25.48% of all players.
The portal trackergg publishes statistics on ranks every month, and for over a year now, players with the Silver rank have been the most numerous among the entire Valorant community. Interestingly, according to the portal's data as of the first act of the eighth episode, the total number of players with the Silver rank stands at 25.48%, or 1,909,864 participants. Compared to the previous season, when there were 1,068,566 players at the Silver rank, the current figures have almost doubled. This indicates a consistently high online presence in Valorant and that the number of players remains high, even a month after an update's release.
The statistics for other popular ranks have also remained stable. Following Silver, the next most popular rank is Bronze, with 21.62% of players. The third place is held by Gold, with 20.21%. The highest rank in Valorant, Radiant, has seen a significant increase last season, with the number of players at this rank being 2,041, which is 0.027% of the total number. In the previous season, there were only 243 players, which was 0.006%.
Such statistics are very important for players who are dissatisfied with their rank. It helps them understand the situation in the competitive mode and how intense the competition is at any given rank.
