Sentinels received additional funding to continue its operations

Sentinels' CEO, Rob Moore, shared some great news with fans: the organization received additional funding, which will resolve issues and allow the club to continue its activities.

Previously, the organization reported financial difficulties and even launched a crowdfunding campaign, in which it offered certain rewards to fans for their donations; the higher the amount, the more valuable the prize. The project is nearing completion, and fans have already donated over $150,000. However, this proved insufficient, so the owners were forced to make a decision about additional investments.

Additional investments from Sentinels' owners amounted to $3.4 million. The statement also mentioned that the owners expect to reduce losses by cutting player salaries and generating additional funds from the sale of the team's in-game cosmetics in Valorant.

As it turned out later, the financial difficulties arose due to significant expenses on salaries for directors, players, and content creators. This forced the club's management to look for opportunities for additional investments, including using crowdfunding.
