Sentinels emerged victorious over Team Heretics in the final match of the first round of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Masters Madrid tournament, bringing four teams closer to the playoffs, while four others will play in the elimination match.
In a tough showdown between some of the best teams from the American and European regions, Sentinels proved stronger than Team Heretics. The winners are just one victory away from advancing further, whereas the losers will no longer have a margin for error, as any further defeat will mean elimination from the tournament.
A reminder that the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Masters Madrid is the first Valorant tournament to be conducted using the Swiss system, so teams with two victories will advance, while those accumulating two losses will leave the event.

The VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Masters Madrid is taking place from March 14th to 24th. Eight of the best teams from around the world (two from each region) are competing for a share of the $500,000 prize pool and 3 points necessary for World Championship qualification.
