Rumors: Vania from BBL Queens has reportedly reached a verbal agreement to sign a contract with G2 Gozen

According to insiders, Turkish athlete Aleyna "Vania" Keskin, who currently plays for BBL Queens, has reached a verbal agreement to sign a contract with the European team G2 Gozen.

The young athlete began her journey with the Galakticos Sirens, where she gained recognition in a local tournament before being invited to join BBL Queens. Since mid-2022, Vania has been part of the team and had the opportunity to compete in the Women's World Championship, finishing in fifth place after losing to Team Liquid in the lower bracket.

G2 Gozen is also considered one of the strongest teams in Europe. This year, they secured victories in the first two stages of VCT 2023: Game Changers EMEA Stage 1, claimed third place in the Women's World Championship, and secured fourth place in the off-season tournament Red Bull Home Ground #4.

If the rumors are confirmed, Vania will act as a replacement for the recently departed player Anastasiya "Glance" Anisimova. The Turkish athlete will have to work hard to prove herself as a worthy replacement and match the level of play of her future teammates.
