Recently, Riot Games once again piqued the interest of the Valorant community. In the latest announcement of the Night Market, there's an indirect hint at a new weapon, believed to be a sniper rifle.
Valorant periodically opens the Night Market, an in-game store offering unique discounts on various skins to each player. Ahead of the next opening of the Night Market, for which the exact date is still unknown, Riot Games released images that will serve as the background for the upcoming event. One of these images shows an interesting empty cabinet, which is the hidden teaser for the future weapon.
On the left side are cabinets with automatic rifles like the Vandal and others. On the right side is a section for sniper rifles, among which are the Marshall and Operator. Interestingly, the third cabinet is empty, suggesting that it's intended for the new rifle, rumored to be named Outlaw. Rumors about it appeared online several months ago, following its concept art reveal in a video from one of the skin collections. Read more about this in our article.
As of now, there is no detailed information about when the developers plan to release the weapon. It can be speculated that it might happen in 2024, during Valorant's eighth episode, which is expected to bring a plethora of exciting content, possibly including the Outlaw.
