One of the key innovations from Riot Games for the 2024 VCT season will be the introduction of a collection of skins for franchise teams, which will become the first permanent collection in the Valorant store, Leo Faria announced. Unofficially, this package is expected to hit the shelves on February 22. It will include skins for the Classic, keychains, sprays, and individual player cards for each team in the VCT.
Since the beta version of the game Valorant, skins have been one of Riot Games' main sources of revenue. Despite the regular release of new collections every month, many of them are limited for purchase. The exception is skins from championship collections, such as Champions and LOCK//IN, available for purchase only for a limited time, usually within a month.
According to VALORANT Esports Global Director Leo Faria, the release of the VCT skin package will mark the first instance of a permanent collection appearing in the Valorant store. This package will be available in the store throughout the entire season, emphasizing the collection of championship teams that have won international tournaments.
Rumors suggest that this introduction is expected on February 22 shortly after the start of the season in many regions of the game.
