Rumors: Ninjas in Pyjamas to leave Chinese region soon

The renowned Swedish organization Ninjas in Pyjamas, in their career in Valorant, has already changed two competitive regions, and it's highly likely that they will leave another one soon. Rumors have surfaced that the organization plans to leave VCT China following a failure at the Ascension China contenders tournament.

Recall that Ninjas in Pyjamas began their journey in Valorant from the EMEA region in 2021. After a failure, the organization received a slot in the Americas region but did not achieve success there either. In 2023, when Riot Games officially added China to the other competitive regions, the NiP leadership formed a new roster, which then competed on the Chinese scene. However, they again failed to achieve success, and according to the VALO2ASIA portal, the “Ninjas” will soon leave the Chinese region, as they do not plan to play in the tier-2 Challengers league.

Although the team showed dismal results at all stages of the VALORANT China Evolution Series, often finishing in the last places, the decisive tournament VCT 2023: Ascension China went quite well. The team confidently reached the playoffs, after which they lost two consecutive matches and left the tournament in 4th place.

While this information is not yet confirmed, considering the statement of the coach Fade, it can be assumed that the rumors will be confirmed soon. Considering past experiences, we will keep an eye on the team to see if they will try their luck in the final Pacific region.
