Rumors have been confirmed - Ninjas in Pyjamas have announced a new Valorant roster

The Swedish organization Ninjas in Pyjamas announced the formation of a new Valorant team, but this time in the Chinese region. The club's representatives reported this on the Chinese analogue of Twitter - Weibo, introducing the new gaming roster along with the coach.

Recall that this is already the 3rd attempt by NiP to enter the professional Valorant scene. The first two were in the EMEA and Americas regions, but in neither of them did the team achieve significant success. Recently, we wrote that since Riot is adding a fourth competitive region, China, to the VCT league, there were rumors online that the organization would return to Valorant. For more details, you can read in our article, and the rumors can now be officially considered confirmed.

New Roster of Ninjas in Pyjamas

Most of the players in the new lineup did not have experience playing together. Only Eren and Spring performed together under the NTER banner, with which they did not achieve significant success on the Chinese scene. They finished the last World Championship Valorant Champions Tour 2023: China Qualifier in 9-12th place.

The most successful player of the new roster can be called JayH. During his time at his last club - Bleed Esports, the Singaporean player won 2 second-division tournaments - TEC Challenger Series 9 and Penta Pro Series. He also helped the team win the latest Valorant Challengers 2023: Malaysia & Singapore Split 1, which was the first step to the team's victory in the major Valorant Challengers Ascension 2023 in the Asia-Pacific region.

The organization commented on the announcement of the new roster and thanked the players for choosing the new club.

Thank you to the coaches and players for their commitment to choosing NIP, giving the club strong trust and confidence! Since we have a common goal, let's move forward together! The team will gather in Shanghai, actively preparing for the upcoming competitions that will soon take place. We all look forward to the ninjas' debut performance.

Recall that Ninjas in Pyjamas are one of the as-yet unannounced participants in the upcoming VCT league in the Chinese region. In addition to them, 7 more teams are expected to enter into a partnership with Riot Games. For more details, you can read in the article mentioned below.
