Rumors have been confirmed: KOI and Infinite Reality are terminating their contract

After a year of collaboration, KOI and Infinite Reality are parting ways. This Saturday, the Spanish organization confirmed the rumors of their separation and stated that the companies parted amicably.

Founded by streamer Ibai Llanos at the end of 2021, KOI entered into an agreement with Infinite Reality to promote esports teams in League of Legends and Valorant. KOI objective was achieved, providing them with the opportunity to realize their potential. However, Ibai Llanos' dream did not materialize as expected; the streamer did not disclose specifics and bid farewell to the project.

On KOI official Twitter channel, the team acknowledged their ambitions

"Their ambitions cannot be fulfilled due to the financial climate. Both sides are convinced that the outcome will be positive for all involved."

Even after the split between KOI and Infinite Reality, the Spanish organization will retain rights to their Valorant team. Consequently, KOI remains confirmed for the upcoming season of the VCT EMEA League, allowing fans to stay calm and continue supporting their favorite team.
