Rumors: BBL Esports Valorant moves to an international roster, signing Jamppi and PROFEK

The Turkish organization BBL Esports has reached a verbal agreement with Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen and Dawid "PROFEK" Święć regarding their addition to the Valorant lineup for VCT 2025. It seems the club is planning to transition to an international roster.

Abandoning the national lineup

Before the transfer window opened, many insiders and members of the Turkish community speculated that BBL Esports would attempt to build an international Valorant roster for the first time, moving away from a purely Turkish lineup. The organization showed interest in two promising young players — Dawid "PROFEK" Święć and German player Haydem "Click" Ali, who was also on NAVI’s radar. However, according to rumors, Click has already reached an agreement with Gentle Mates.

Potential newcomers to BBL Esports

According to the well-known and respected insider in the Valorant community, anonimotum, the Turkish organization BBL Esports has reached a verbal agreement with Jamppi and PROFEK, with only the finalization of the contracts remaining. Currently, both players are benched by their previous clubs and have not commented on these rumors.

A justified decision?

The club's move to an international roster may bring both advantages, by recruiting talented players, and challenges, due to potential communication issues among Turkish players, who are used to competing only in Turkish-speaking teams. However, these are still just rumors, and BBL Esports may yet continue with a Turkish lineup for VCT 2025.
