RizoN leaves the Underground Gaming Valorant roster

The Kuwaiti and Saudi Arabian esports organization Underground Gaming announced its new Valorant roster at the beginning of 2024, but over time started parting ways with some of its players. Yesterday, it was revealed that another core member, Abdulaziz "RizoN" Aboheimed, is leaving the team.

The player announced this decision on his official social networks. Interestingly, the organization has not yet commented on this unexpected departure; meanwhile, RizoN simply stated that he is no longer part of the team and is now looking for a new home under the status LFT.

Abdulaziz "RizoN" Aboheimed joined the organization on February 8, 2024, when the new Valorant squad was introduced. For Abdulaziz, Underground Gaming was his first professional team, as he had previously played mostly for lesser-known, unorganized groups. During his time under the club’s banner, Abdulaziz helped the team secure third place at Saudi eLeague 2024: Major 1 and later fourth place at Saudi eLeague 2024: Major 2.

Currently, Underground Gaming is competing in the regular season of Valorant Challengers 2024 MENA: Resilience Split 2 - GCC and Iraq, where the team is at the bottom of the rankings with an overall score of 2-8. Although RizoN did not participate in the matches, the team's results might have contributed to the end of the collaboration.
