Riot representatives promise to fix a knife bug from the Nocturnum set in Patch 9.06

With the release of new agents, skins, and maps, Valorant often encounters various bugs, which developers regularly fix, albeit not always promptly. One such bug currently exists with the knife from the Nocturnum set, but Riot representatives have already promised to fix it.

What’s the Bug?

In the latest Patch 9.04, which introduced a new agent to the game, a skin bundle named Nocturnum also appeared. This bundle includes skins for the Classic, Bulldog, Phantom, Marshal, and a melee weapon. You can read more about the set in our article. The bug in question is related to the knife. The issue arises because the knife has two variations: a regular dagger and a scythe that it can transform into.

The problem lies in the size of the scythe. When the knife takes the form of a scythe, it becomes too large, and during certain animations, it can reveal your location. For example, you may be hiding behind a crate, waiting for an enemy, but if you inspect the knife, its size exceeds the cover, making it easy for the enemy to spot you.

Riot Games' Response

Although it’s been a few days since the issue was discovered, Riot only responded to it yesterday. On their official Twitter account, Valorant’s skin manager, Preeti Khanolkar, finally addressed players' complaints. She thanked the person who found the bug and stated that the team is already working on a fix, which will be included in Patch 9.06. However, the release date for this patch is currently unknown.

While some may argue that this is not a bug but rather a developer oversight, it still needs to be addressed. Players who purchased the skin set are eagerly awaiting the fix.
