Riot Games revealed changes to the Premier mode that will appear in Valorant alongside the new episode

Although the 8th episode in Valorant only started recently, its first episode is coming to an end soon. In light of this, the game developers have sparked the community's interest in the second episode and shared what will be added to the in-game Premier mode.

On the official Riot Games website for Valorant, an article appeared in which the developers discussed their plans to enhance the mode. To begin with, let's remind you that Premier is an in-game mode where ordinary players can take on the role of esports athletes and compete according to tournament rules. However, starting in 2024, the mode will become a pathway for young talents who want to break into the professional Valorant scene.

As revealed, the Premier mode will see several welcome innovations with the new act. First and foremost, your team will face different opponents at each stage. This means you won't encounter the same rivals twice in a stage. Also, the developers have removed the registration phase, and now, players can create a team and start competing at any time. In addition, the team can change its region before the start of the first stage, rather than only at the moment of creation. Among the latest additions, it's worth noting your previous division, which will be displayed immediately upon creating a team, rather than after the first matches.

Despite such improvements, the Valorant community is unsure whether the Premier mode will gain more popularity after this. Typically, the main online mode comprises players who plan to enter esports, while ordinary players remain in the ranked mode.
