On the official Riot Games website, a statement was released announcing the punishment. It states that malibu has received a lifetime ban from all tournaments organized and sponsored by Riot Games. Additionally, the company also punished another team member, James "summertime" Edwards, who is prohibited from participating in events for a year.
It is still unknown how Riot Games plans to deal with malibu in the future. The fact is that no participant knows the real data of the player, and she herself used a fake photo generated by artificial intelligence. Therefore, it is possible that we will hear again about cheating at official tournaments in the future.
