The main event of the entire Valorant Champions 2024 discipline will begin in less than two weeks. While professional players strive to qualify for the most important tournament, Riot Games is decorating the maps in the game, so that regular players do not forget about the upcoming championship.
The information was shared by the well-known dataminer KINGDOM LABORATORIES on their official social networks. As usual, before the start of major events, Riot Games decorates the maps in Valorant and adds various attributes of upcoming tournaments. Valorant Champions 2024 is no exception.
In the image above, you can see the central part of the Ascent map and a large banner decorating one of the buildings. Other locations have also been changed, like the well-known shop on the Split map at the spawn point for defense players, and many others. On the posters and banners, you can see the date of the upcoming championship, its logo, and various drawings dedicated to the event.
Valorant Champions 2024 will take place from August 1 to 25, 2024, in Seoul. Sixteen partner teams, four from each competitive region, will compete for a total prize pool of $2,250,000, as well as the title of world champion and the strongest team for the next year.
