Professional Valorant player Gizem “Luie” Harmankaya, who tragically lost her life in the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria earlier this year, has been immortalized in a new in-game card by Riot Games.
Gizem “Luie” Harmankaya played for the teams Galaktiucos Sirencs, Vivace Vista, and Unknownpros Female. The Valorant community mourned the news of her death, confirming her as a victim of the earthquakes that shook Turkey and Syria in early February 2023. To commemorate Luie memory, Riot Games has introduced a new in-game card that players can acquire for free.
The card was discovered by Shiick, a data miner from the Valorant community, in the files of the new update 7.10. According to Shiick, the card will soon become a free bonus with accompanying text. "This card is in memory of Luie" and "Celebrate the life of Luie" are the inscriptions that will appear when you receive the card upon launching the game. However, the exact date of its full release in the game is currently unknown.
Back in April, Riot had previously honored Luie's memory by providing players with a free title, "Gizem," which could be obtained after completing five levels of the Episode 6, Act 3 battle pass.
