On March 2nd, Riot Games announced on their social media the details and release date of a new set of skins for Valorant called Primoedium.
"Primoedium" is a skin collection inspired by an ancient creature composed of lava and chaos. This skin collection, based on a dark fantasy universe, utilizes the theme of lava, whose power intensifies with each shot, while the weapons cool down in standby mode.
The set includes Vandal, Phantom, Spectre, Shorty, as well as the close combat blade "Blade of Primoedium" with new animations for attacking, running, and aiming. In addition to the standard variant, there are blue, green, and gold variants, each of which changes the finishers and visual effects.

The finisher involves a huge hand appearing when a player dies, enveloping them and transporting them to another world. Immediately after this, the landscape changes, turning into a dark atmosphere.
The "Primoedium" set will be available for 8700 VP and will be released during the new Episode 8 Act 2 season, starting on March 5th.
