Riot Games ends partnership with Amazon Prime - Valorant players to miss out on rewards

Recently, Riot Games announced some disappointing news for the entire Valorant community. It has been revealed that the company is ending its partnership with Amazon Prime, meaning users will miss out on free in-game rewards.

In their official Twitter account, Riot Games announced that Prime Gaming decided not to continue the partnership, which means the joint reward capsules will only be available until March 2024. Valorant Prime Gaming is a promotional offer for Valorant players who have an Amazon Prime subscription, allowing them to receive free in-game rewards.

Prime Gaming decided not to continue our promotion, which means that the last capsule releases for all our games will end in March 2024.

Among the rewards available to Prime Gaming users were weapon charms, graffiti, player cards, and other cosmetic items. In turn, representatives from Riot Games stated that all the rewards players previously received will remain theirs forever. The company also announced that they will be looking for new ways to reward Valorant players for their achievements and dedication to the game.

It is currently unknown what alternatives the game developers might find, but it is not ruled out that Amazon may renew its collaboration with Riot in the future, and players may again have the opportunity for free cosmetic gifts.
