Riot Games has introduced a new map rotation system for Valorant, set to launch with patch 10.0. In a video released on the official YouTube channel, it was revealed that map rotations will be updated with every act. The main goal of this innovation is to give players the opportunity to adapt in advance to the maps that will be available in the upcoming act.
Valorant Product Manager Coleman Palm explained that the new system will make map pool transitions smoother for both casual players and professionals. Additionally, it was announced that the list of maps for the next act will be published immediately after the start of the current one.
According to the information provided, with the release of patch 10.0, which will be the first update of 2025, Ascent and Sunset will be removed from the pool, while Fracture and Lotus will return to the game. It has not yet been disclosed whether these maps will undergo any reworks. Players will have to wait for further updates from the developers.
