Here are some of the changes that Riot Games will implement in the Premier mode in the upcoming stage:
- Premier Practice: Players will be able to participate in practice matches on specific non-match days during a designated practice window. These matches will not count towards the weekly match limit for participating teams and will not affect Premier rankings and division seeding. However, they will follow the same structure as regular matches.
- Timeouts: During Premier league matches, teams will have the opportunity to take one timeout per side. If the match goes into overtime, an additional timeout can be taken. The same timeout rules apply to practice matches.
- Enrollment Updates: Team enrollment will now extend for one and a half days, allowing teams to recruit new members during the Premier stage, including the creation of teams during this period.
- Playoffs Seeding: Teams with higher ratings in the Premier league will receive more favorable seeding before the playoffs.
- Playoffs Queue: The playoffs will have a seeding period of fifteen minutes to enhance matchmaking. Teams must lock in and remain in the queue during this seeding period.
- Premier Crests: Premier Crests will reflect your team's performance and evolve throughout the entire stage.
