Professional players are asking Riot Games to add a blacklist to Valorant

Regular players in Valorant are increasingly reaching out to the developers with a request to add a blacklist to the game client. Today, professional player Zellsis joined the general appeal and offered his own solution to the problem.

It is worth reminding that fans of the game have been requesting Riot Games to implement a blacklist for a long time. Their idea is that if a player adds a team member or an opponent to the blacklist, it should reduce the chance or completely limit the possibility of the blocked player being matched in a game with the person who blocked them. So far, the developers have been unresponsive to the community's requests, but this may change soon.

This morning, professional player - Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro, who is a current member of the American club Sentinels, addressed Riot Games and stated that he would personally write the necessary code for them. There are no details on this situation, but most likely, Jordan repeatedly ended up in matches with a terrible teammate who deliberately sabotaged the games.

"Riot Games, VALORANT. I will personally write the code for you that's needed for the blacklist!!!"

Two hours after this message on his Twitter account, Zellsis published what he reports to be the self-written code. When added to the Valorant client, it is supposed to function as a blacklist, but there is no way to confirm this.

In the comments, the cyberathlete's readers began to joke that the code is not yet operational because it lacks the necessary punctuation marks and recommended that he turn to programmers. Nonetheless, Zellsis's statement is a significant argument, and perhaps Riot Games will eventually listen to the community in the future.
