DetonatioN FocusMe has announced the departure of player Souta "popogachi" Morita from their Valorant roster. The player did not participate in any matches for the club after the official season began.
The player joined DetonatioN FocusMe back in 2023 before the start of the off-season Riot Games ONE PRO INVITATIONAL 2023, where the team finished last, in fourth place, losing all their matches. This was the only tournament and the only matches in which the player participated.
The organization stated that the player's contract was terminated by mutual agreement, as popogachi himself requested it, and DetonatioN FocusMe agreed. The player is now a free agent.
The future of the player remains uncertain as he has not shared any details. His desire to leave the team also remains unclear. It could indicate a wish to join another team where he would have more playing experience, or conversely, end his professional career.
