The Japanese player gatorada from Sengoku Gaming has announced his retirement from professional Valorant. gatorada began his esports career in 2016, entering the competitive Rainbow Six Siege (R6S) scene. In 2017, he joined Sengoku Gaming Extasy and later transitioned to CYCLOPS athlete gaming (CAG) in 2019. During his time with CAG, he achieved numerous tournament victories in Japan and Asia, and competed in over 10 international events, including the Six Invitational 2021 and Six Invitational 2022.

In 2023, gatorada switched to Valorant, joining Sengoku Gaming B-team, and was quickly promoted to the main roster. Competing in VCJ 2023 Split 2, he placed 8th, and in VCJ 2024, he consistently performed well, reaching the offline playoffs twice. His team finished the year ranked 3rd among Japanese teams.
