Player Dep from ZETA DIVISION Withdraws from RAGE SUPER MATCH

On July 16, the Japanese esports team ZETA DIVISION announced that their Valorant player Dep would not participate in the offline tournament RAGE SUPER MATCH.

According to an official statement, Dep participation in the tournament, which was supposed to take place on August 4, has been canceled due to personal reasons. The RAGE organizers apologized to fans who were eagerly awaiting his performance and expressed hope for their understanding.

RAGE SUPER MATCH is a major offline esports event that will take place on August 3 and 4, 2024, at Tokyo Big Sight. On the first day of the tournament, there will be a "STREET FIGHTER 6" competition, and on the second day, an "Overwatch 2" competition. The event will attract current and former professional players as well as popular streamers for special matches.

Dep, known for his achievements in Overwatch, planned to participate in the tournament on the second day as a former professional player. However, according to the organizers, his participation was canceled.

The ZETA DIVISION team explained that the decision to withdraw Dep from participation is related to commitments under a partnership agreement with Riot Games.
