References to team capsules from organizations participating in the Valorant Champions League have appeared in the game files, providing new and intriguing information about them.
The Valorant Champions Tour season is returning soon with new challenges for top teams in each of the four regions. To financially assist them this season, Riot Games plans to introduce capsules for each team, with 50% of the profits going to the organization.
Following the beta test opening with the new 8.03 update, dataminers discovered references to upcoming team capsules. According to the code lines, they contain a player card with the organization's own design, a gun buddy, and a Classic skin that will have three upgrade levels. It is not yet known what exactly will be upgraded; it could be unique sounds, animations, or different color schemes.
The likely release date for the team capsules is planned for February 20-22. There is no information yet on their cost, but they will be available for purchase at any point throughout the VCT 2024 season. If they prove to be popular, Riot Games plans to release others in the future.
