Oxygen Esports became the unexpected winner of the Ludwig x Tarik Invitational 2

One of the last off-season Valorant tournaments, the Ludwig x Tarik Invitational 2, concluded yesterday. After competitive days, the tournament's champion was revealed to be quite unexpected.

In the grand final, which took place tonight, viewers witnessed a clash between Moist x Shopify and Oxygen Esports. Interestingly, the former were the favorites, as they emerged from the merger of two organizations, Moist Moglus and Shopify Rebellion, a few months ago. Oxygen Esports performed fairly well in tier-2 competitions this season, but had not achieved significant success. Despite this, they became the tournament winners, defeating their opponents with a score of 2-1.

The first clash took place on Ascent, and the Moist x Shopify favorites, not without difficulty, confirmed their choice. The teams played the first half of the match with an equal score of 6-6, but after changing sides, the map owners took the initiative, closing it with a score of 13-9. A similar situation occurred on the map Split, where the teams were nearly equal in the first half of the match, but on the defense side, Oxygen Esports confidently took eight rounds, allowing them to win with a score of 13-8. The decisive clash took place on Sunset, but it ended quite one-sidedly. Oxygen Esports dominated the first half of the match and continued to do so after changing sides, eventually winning with a crushing score of 13-3.

As a result, Oxygen Esports became the champions of the tournament and received the main cash prize for the team in the amount of $30,000. Moist x Shopify, in turn, became the silver medalists and earned a $15,000 prize.
