Organizers have unveiled the prize pool and the list of casters who will cover the VCT 2024: Masters Shanghai

The second major tournament of the year, Masters Shanghai, will start in just eight days, and the Valorant community is actively preparing to watch this significant event. Recently, organizers revealed which well-known media personalities will be invited to the tournament and also announced the size of the prize pool that players will compete for.

The prize pool has been disclosed to be $1,000,000, thanks to information on the Liquipedia portal. Interestingly, the first Masters tournament in Madrid had a prize of $500,000 but was participated by only 8 teams. This time, the money will be distributed as follows: 1st place - $350,000, 2nd place - $200,000, 3rd place - $125,000, 4th place - $75,000, 5th-6th places - $50,000 each, 7th-8th places - $35,000 each, 9th-10th places - $25,000 each, 11th-12th places - $15,000 each.

 
 

Additionally, the official social networks of the tournament organizers listed the casters and media personalities who will participate in the upcoming event. Among them are renowned commentators and analysts such as: Seth "Achilios" King, Andrej "babybay" Francisty, Doug "EsportsDoug" Cortez, Clinton "Paperthin" Bader, and many others. All of them have experience in commenting tier-1 tournaments, ensuring that the coverage of the tournament will be top-notch.

VCT 2024: Masters Shanghai will take place from May 23 to June 9 in a LAN format in Shanghai at the Valo Arena and Mercedes-Benz Arena. The 12 best teams from each competitive region will compete for places at the upcoming World Championship, as well as for the large prize pool.
