Organization XSET has received a lawsuit from former players for payments from the Valorant Champions 2022

Recently, news appeared on the Dexerto information portal about the American esports organization XSET. Former players, along with the coach, have filed a collective lawsuit for unclaimed payments from the Valorant Champions 2022 cosmetic set.

According to available information, the first mentions of the lawsuit appeared on the Dotesports website. It states that 4 former players: zekken, Cryocells, AYRIN, dephh, and coach SyykoNT did not receive payments for the Valorant Champions 2022 championship set. Let us remind you that last year's championship gathered $16,000,000 from the sale of skin sets, 50% of this amount should be divided among all teams, meaning each of the 16 participants gets $500,000.

Representatives of XSET commented on the Dexetro portal and stated that their organization is working for the benefit of esports, and contract disputes are a common occurrence. Therefore, they will prove the wrongdoing of former players in court.

Over the past year, esports has faced serious issues and continues to remain a negative part of the global sports scene. XSET has always strived to be the voice of change and growth in this area. The sad reality is that contract disputes are part of professional sports. Needless to say, we completely disagree with what is written in the complaint and want to prove that there have been no changes to the contracts.

Let's recall that after Riot Games stopped cooperating with XSET in the American league, the organization ceased its participation in VCT competitions. Most players moved to other teams, and coach SyykoNT even became the vice-president in the new organization M80.
