After the merger of two organizations, Unicorns of Love and Permitta eSports, the club's management introduced an updated Valorant lineup, which included various players and coaches. The merger took place in May this year, and after a month, various team members, including the head coach Shinyy, began to leave.
The coach announced his decision on his official Twitter account. He stated that his time with the combined team and the original Permitta eSports was wonderful and filled with warm moments. However, Shinyy has decided to focus on his own coaching career, which includes 1v1 gameplay training, as well as pursuing a streaming career.
Shinyy, like all members of the updated roster, joined the team on May 15. Since then, the team has started its participation in the regular season of VALORANT Challengers 2024 DACH: Evolution Split 2, where they continue to play. However, their current performance in the tournament cannot be called very successful, as the team has lost all 4 matches so far and is in last place in the standings with a score of 0-4. Because of this, the team will not advance to the playoff stage of the tournament and will have to play in the Relegation series to qualify for the next split.
Perhaps the unsatisfactory results were another reason for Shinyy's departure from the team. Interestingly, the coach does not rule out the possibility of returning to his role in the team later, when he has more free time and inspiration. We will continue to follow the combined team to learn more about changes in the Valorant lineup.
