ODG Esports Club loses captain of their Valorant team

Today, it became known about another reshuffle in the Chinese competitive scene of Valorant. Professional player Yu "TS" Tae-seok, who served as the in-game leader for ODG Esports Club, announced that he is beginning his search for a new team starting today.

In his official Twitter account, TS stated that as a free agent, he is looking for a new team. Interestingly, the player did not say goodbye to his former teammates and the team as a whole, suggesting that the parties ended their collaboration on not the best terms. Yu only mentioned that he has a basic knowledge of Japanese, and also shared the roles he sees himself playing in the game in the future.

Yu "TS" Tae-seok spent only four months in ODG Esports Club, but he failed to bring the desired results to the team. Under his leadership, the club failed the second and third stages of the VALORANT China Evolution Series, as a result of which they did not make it to the list of 11 partner teams in the Chinese region.

It is still unknown whether the player has received offers from other teams, but as Yu himself noted, it is already very late. The competitive season from Riot Games has officially begun, and most teams already have fully formed rosters. Therefore, we will follow whether the Korean player manages to find a new home for 2024.
