Oasis Gaming and ZOL Esports have secured their spots at the APAC Predator League 2024 by defeating NAOS Esports and Valhalla in the qualifying matches. These two teams join Orangutan, Todak, Team NKT, and other participants in the tournament with a total prize pool of $100,000. The competitions will take place from January 11 to 14, 2024, in the Philippines.
ZOL Esports secured their victory in the qualifiers by defeating Valhalla in the semifinals. Previously, they had triumphed over Ivy League Gaming and ABS in the group stage but suffered a 12-14 defeat against Oasis Gaming.
This qualification marks a significant breakthrough for ZOL Esports as they will be participating in a LAN event for the first time since adding Elmer "micr0" Coloma, Oscar "Kakarot" Jr., and Franz "kevzii" Dingal to the team in August of this year.
Oasis Gaming became the second team to secure a place in the APAC Predator League 2024 after defeating NAOS Esports and Ascension. The club also claimed the top spot among Filipino teams by defeating ZOL Esports in the grand final, making them favorites on their home turf.
Now, there is one more spot available in the APAC Predator League 2024, which will be filled by the winners from the regions of Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea, and Taiwan.
