The organization Rebels Gaming announced the end of their collaboration with the team's captain, Cornelia “Neli” Johansson, on their Twitter account.

Cornelia "Neli" Johansson joined the team just 2 months ago, prior to the start of VCT 2023: Game Changers EMEA Series 2, aiming to strengthen the roster and finally get out of the group stage of the tournament. However, this did not happen: after Neli's arrival, the team once again failed to advance from the group stage, finishing 5th in their group. They were just one spot away from advancing, and a similar situation occurred at the first tournament of the Game Changers EMEA series.

Management decided to review their roster and make radical changes, specifically to say goodbye to the team's captain. This is a risky move, as the next VCT 2023: Game Changers EMEA Series 3 will start in just a month, and it will be the last tournament of this season where EMEA Points and a slot for the world championship will be played for. However, a new captain might bring new knowledge and a fresh approach, which might help the team secure the desired slot for VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: Game Changers Championship.

Cornelia "Neli" Johansson commented on her Twitter account only about her decision to leave the Rebels Gaming team and wished the best to her former team members. She did not say anything about her further continuation or end of her career.
