On May 2, the group stage of VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1 concluded, finalizing the seeding for the playoffs, which will begin on May 8. At stake are spots at Masters Toronto 2025 and the Esports World Cup 2025.

In the first round of the playoffs, NAVI will face BBL Esports, while Fnatic will go up against FUT Esports. The other four teams will await the outcomes of these matches to find out their opponents. Team Heretics and Team Liquid, thanks to their first-place finishes in groups Alpha and Omega respectively, will start from the second round. Meanwhile, Karmine Corp and Team Vitality, who finished fourth in their groups, will begin from the lower bracket.

The playoffs of VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1 will run from May 8 to May 18. Eight teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket for three spots at Masters Toronto 2025, two spots at EWC 2025, and additional EMEA Points. These points will later determine extra slots for VALORANT Champions 2025. Like the group stage, the playoffs will take place in Berlin, Germany, at the Riot Games Arena.
