Murii is moving to the inactive roster of SK Gaming and preparing to leave the team

The German team SK Gaming announced its first Valorant roster at the beginning of 2024, but after the competitive season, it's time for changes. Yesterday, it was revealed that main roster player Murat "murii" Korkmaz is transitioning to inactive status and preparing to leave the team.

Murat himself announced this decision on his official social networks. He stated that while his contract with the organization is still valid, the club's management is allowing him to seek new opportunities. Thus, murii plans to find a new home for the upcoming competitive season.

Murat "murii" Korkmaz is a 25-year-old German player who first appeared in the SK Gaming lineup at the beginning of 2024 when the organization announced its entry into the Valorant esports scene. During his 7 months with the team, he secured a third-place finish at the first stage of the VALORANT Challengers 2024 DACH: Evolution Split 1 and later a seventh-place at Split 2. Although these results guaranteed the team a spot in the Challengers DACH for 2025, Murat still plans to leave the team.

It's unknown if murii has already received offers from other teams. We will follow his official social media to learn more about his future plans and which club he will end up with.
