Today we say goodbye to MONSTEERR as he has chosen to retire from professional play and focus on his studies going forward.
Working with Ondřej since last year has always been a pleasure, we've known him as the clutch king, lurk god and great friend during that time.
We all wish him the best of success in his future, wherever it takes him!
Ondřej "MONSTEERR" Petrů joined Acend on April 29, 2022. During this period, he, along with the team, achieved a series of impressive successes, winning several trophies and receiving multiple best player awards. His most significant achievements include victories at VCL East: Surge Split 1 2023 and VCL East: Surge Split 2 2023, and also making it to VCL Ascension: EMEA 2023, where Acend was a step away from participating in the VCT EMEA League, finishing in third place. Throughout these tournaments, the player was awarded the best player of Split 1, and also became the MVP of the fifth week and the Play-off of Split 2.
Current Acend Roster
During his career, the player successfully played for renowned teams such as Team Heretics, Giants Gaming, Enterprise Esports, and Acend, which became his last home. Over three years of active participation at the professional level, the player earned over 10,000 dollars in prize money, with significant achievements being with his last team.
It's worth noting that the primary candidate to replace the outgoing player is Egor "chiwawa" Stepanyuk, who has already participated in several matches with Acend during one of the off-season tournaments - VALORANT East: United: Season 2: Stage 3 - League. We reported this in one of our previous article.
