On May 14, the European organization Team Heretics announced that Dominykas "MiniBoo" Lukaševičius is moving to the bench. After six months of collaboration, the Lithuanian player announced burnout, which led to his benching.
The Lithuanian joined Team Heretics during the off-season, shortly after which the team took 3rd place in the qualifiers for Red Bull Home Ground #4. However, this was not enough to advance to the main event. After several unsuccessful performances at the LVP - Crossfire Cup 2023, the team focused on improving their results ahead of the new season.
In the regional qualifiers, Team Heretics easily passed the group stage, which allowed them to compete in the EMEA Kickoff finals. However, Karmine Corp proved to be significantly stronger, leading to the team's defeat.

After 32 matches for Team Heretics, the young Lithuanian was unable to achieve significant results on the international stage, affecting his mental state. MiniBoo himself wrote on his Twitter page that he will return closer to Stage 2 and expressed gratitude to his fans and teammates for their warm support.
Hi, I’m fine, don’t worry. I’ll be back for Stage 2, I just needed a small break. I just wanted to say that I’m very grateful to everyone at Team Heretics for their support and for giving me the opportunity to take a break and sort things out.
The team has not yet announced who will replace MiniBoo for VCT 2024: Masters Shanghai, but it is expected that news about the roster will be released in the coming days.
