MIBR transfers heat from the main lineup to the bench

As of July 27, Olavo "heat" Marcelo is no longer a part of the main roster of the Brazilian organization MIBR in Valorant. Now heat is a reserve player, which was revealed from his own account on Twitter.

Yesterday, heat announced that he is being transferred to the bench due to the team's poor performance during the regular season. The player apologized to the fans and the organization for the failure, and also said that despite having a contract with MIBR open until 2024, he is ready to listen to new offers.

Also, | want to thank MIBR for the opportunity and all the structure that was provided, without words they did everything so that we could only play in Valorant. In any case, I will return to my life and focus on myself in the next season. I still have a contract with MIBR, but I am ready to play in teams of any nationality.

The team's performance in the current season

Changes in the main roster of the team are justified by the bad situation on the professional scene. Although last year seemed quite successful for MIBR, this year's tournaments did not bring any prize places to the Brazilian team. At VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo, which took place in the team's home country, the team shared the last places with a host of other teams, 17-32. The regular season of VCT 2023: Americas League also went bad for MIBR, during the competition the team only won 3 matches, losing 6 in return, as a result, they finished the season in 9th position.
