According to the portal's information, joining the MIBR roster are two new players: former FURIA Esports participant Matheus "mazin" Araújo and Arthur "artzin" Araujo from 00 Nation. They will team up with three current members of the squad. As a result, a quintet will form to participate in the next VCT season. It's worth noting that in the current VCT season, MIBR ranked between 17th-32nd place at the international VCT LOCK//IN São Paulo 2023 tournament. In the regular VCT Americas League 2023 season, they finished in 9th place, and in the VCT Americas Last Chance Qualifier 2023, they were knocked out after the first round, securing 7th place. Following these results, primary players Olavo "heat" Marcelo and Murillo "murizzz" Tuchtenhagen left the team.
Potential MIBR Valorant roster
This roster selection has caused a wave of negative reactions among Brazilian Valorant fans. The club chose to retain players who weren't the best performers, despite there being many talented players available in the transfer market who will be left out of the franchise for the upcoming VCT season. Journalist BoDork also shared his impressions about MIBR's potential lineup. You can check it out below.
