Despite high average viewership figures, Valorant lags behind its competitor from Valve in peak audience numbers. According to Esports Charts, the CS2 world championship final attracted over 1.8 million peak viewers, while the Valorant grand final gathered only 1.6 million.
However, Masters Madrid showed the best result in viewership among the average number of viewers, surpassing PGL Major by one hundred thousand views. Valorant attracted over 671 thousand viewers, while CS2 managed to gather 552 thousand.
