Masters Madrid outperforms the first CS2 major in average viewership but falls behind in peak ratings

According to Esports Charts, the already concluded first international tournament Masters Madrid had a higher average viewership than the first CS2 world championship.

Despite high average viewership figures, Valorant lags behind its competitor from Valve in peak audience numbers. According to Esports Charts, the CS2 world championship final attracted over 1.8 million peak viewers, while the Valorant grand final gathered only 1.6 million.
