Major reshuffles in Team Vitality's coaching roster

The French squad Team Vitality failed to qualify for the current Masters Shanghai, thus the team has time to prepare for upcoming competitions. Recently, due to recent results, the club's management conducted major reshuffles in the coaching staff of their Valorant team.

The decision was announced on the team's official social networks. It was revealed that position coach Joe "Strong" Edwards is leaving the team, former head coach Salah "Salah" Barakat is moving to an inactive coaching role, and his place will be taken by Harry "Gorilla" Mepham, who was previously an assistant coach.

Former head coach Salah "Salah" Barakat joined the team at the end of 2022. Under his leadership, the club showed good results at off-season tournaments such as Red Bull Home Ground #3, where the team finished 3rd-4th, and at Convergence 2023, where they finished in 2nd place. However, the official Riot tournaments did not go as well, and at the last VCT 2024: EMEA Stage 1, the "Bees" finished 9th-10th and failed to qualify for Masters Shanghai.

The next major tournament for the team will be VCT: EMEA League 2, which starts in over a month. Only then will we be able to see if the reshuffles in the coaching staff have led to the desired effect.
