On September 25, the North American esports organization M80 announced the termination of contracts with all players and coaches of its Valorant division. The team has parted ways with koalanoob, NiSMO, BcJ, neT, and GUNTER, each of whom has announced they are looking for a new team (LFT) on the platform X (formerly Twitter). The exceptions are Zander and Happy, who remain on the roster for now.
M80 was formed in December 2022 by the former owner of XSET. Soon after, it established its first Valorant roster. In 2023, M80 won the North American VCL tournament and qualified for Ascension, where they lost to The Guard in the finals. After the tournament, JohnQT moved to Sentinels, and eeiu went to 100 Thieves.
Today we part ways with our VALORANT roster.

This roster has played a crucial role in M80’s growth over the past year and we thank every single one of them for everything they have done for us. We are so proud of all the hard work they put into this project and we can’t wait to… pic.twitter.com/aO65nejDXP
In the 2024 season, the team updated its roster; however, in VCL 2024 Split 1 and Split 2, the team only placed 4th. In June, the team was strengthened by former G2 player neT. This helped M80 to win another North American tournament, but at Ascension, they finished second again, losing in the finals to 2GAME Esports with a score of 2-3.
It is currently unclear whether M80 will continue its participation in the next season, but attention is focused on the future careers of its players.
